Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Spicy Tumeric Latte

Over the last few months, I’ve not totally gotten rid of caffeine. But I love my tea in the morning and my spicy tumeric latte in the afternoon. I hope you will too.

Ingredients

  • ½-1 T of turmeric

  • ¼ tsp of black pepper
  • ¼ tsp of ginger
  • ¼ tsp of cinnamon
  • 6 to 10 monk fruit drops, to taste
  • 1-1½ cups Oatly (low fat)
  • ¼ cup Oatly (full fat) to enhance froth

Optional
  • ¼ tsp of green cardamom

  • ¼ tsp of organic vanilla bean
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper

Instructions

1. Heat the milk in a turkish pot to the desired temperature. Do not boil the milk.
2. Add all ingredients slowly into the pot.
3. Mix everything together with hand frother.
4. Carefully pour into a cup to serve.
