Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Spicy Tumeric Latte
Recipe courtesy of Jeff Levenson, PPMNY Community MemberOver the last few months, I’ve not totally gotten rid of caffeine. But I love my tea in the morning and my spicy tumeric latte in the afternoon. I hope you will too.
Ingredients
½-1 T of turmeric
- ¼ tsp of black pepper
- ¼ tsp of ginger
- ¼ tsp of cinnamon
- 6 to 10 monk fruit drops, to taste
- 1-1½ cups Oatly (low fat)
- ¼ cup Oatly (full fat) to enhance froth
¼ tsp of green cardamom
- ¼ tsp of organic vanilla bean
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
Instructions
1. Heat the milk in a turkish pot to the desired temperature. Do not boil the milk.
2. Add all ingredients slowly into the pot.
3. Mix everything together with hand frother.
4. Carefully pour into a cup to serve.
