Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Frozen Banana Bites

Ingredients

  • 8 large very ripe bananas, speckled or even mostly brown

  • ⅓ cup ground flaxseed
  • ⅓ cup raw almond butter – can substitute unsweetened sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter, or unsalted peanut butter (the flavor of seed butters blend in nicely)
  • ⅓ cup cacao powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Put all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into silicone ice cube trays (or molds of any shape) to freeze for a few hours until fully hardened. You can also eat the mixture straight out of the blender as a pudding!
