Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Fiesta Black Beans in a Minute

Ingredients

  • 1 can of black beans, drained

  • 2 T hummus, oil-free or low oil
  • 2-4 T salsa, low-salt
  • Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

1. In a small pot (or microwave-safe bowl), heat the black beans until they are warm.
2. Stir. Add the hummus and salsa, and heat for 2 minutes until the mixture is hot.
3. Add a pinch of smoked paprika, or any seasonings of your choice, and stir to combine. Heat another 1-2 minutes.
4. Serve over 2 baked potatoes, or with warm corn tortillas.
