Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Carob Brownie Oat Bowl

Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1 tbsp carob powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

1. Combine oats, hemp seeds, carob powder, flaxseed, and cinnamon in a bowl.
2. Add chopped dates and tahini. Pour soy milk over and mix well.
3. Let sit for 5-10 minutes to soften, or refrigerate overnight for a chilled version.
4. Enjoy with an extra sprinkle of hemp seeds and cinnamon on top.
