Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Bruschetta

4 tomatoes, chopped
- ½ red onion, diced
- 1 T chopped garlic
- ¼ cup chopped basil
- ½ tsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Combine tomatoes, red onion, garlic, and basil in a mixing bowl.
2. Add the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar.
3. Mix all ingredients together.
4. Top on toasted whole-grain bread.
