Whole Food, Plant-Based Recipe Overnight Oatmeal

These overnight oats are a delicous, easy and satisfying breakfast. Make the night before for a grab and go breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup oats

  • 1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1 ½ tsp pure maple syrup or sugar
  • ¼ tsp pure vanilla or almond extract (optional)
  • 1 cup mixed fruit (berries, applesauce, bananas)
  • 1 to 2 T of chopped nuts, if desired
  • Dash of ground cinnamon

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a container, jar or bowl, mix through and refrigerate overnight. Eat it right out of the bowl or container the next morning.
